I don't have the answer but a couple of questions. 1. Is the database on a server? If so, I have seen this message before but it usually means that there was some sort of "momentary" disconnect. 2. Can you provide details of the cursor? The eep is only 43 lines long using a declare cursor, doing lookups and an update command, nothing really complicated. The tables involved contain only 32,500 rows and are indexed.
