Thanks Jan,

No, not on server.

Seems in the cursor, a wrong column was referenced. Corrected the problem
and the message went away. But it was curious as I had never seen that
particular messgae.

Bill,

I don't have the answer but a couple of questions.

1. Is the database on a server? If so, I have seen this message before
but it usually means that there was some sort of "momentary" disconnect.
2. Can you provide details of the cursor?

Subject: [RBASE-L] - Resource error message

While using a command file (eep) in 9.1-64 I received this error message;

"Resources required by command are not available."

The eep is only 43 lines long using a declare cursor, doing lookups and an
update command, nothing really complicated.

The tables involved contain only 32,500 rows and are indexed.

I have never seen this error message. I know what it means but why does it
occur ? Is this something peculiar to databases over 1GB in size ?

Thanks,

Bill Eyring
