Thanks Jan, No, not on server. Seems in the cursor, a wrong column was referenced. Corrected the problem and the message went away. But it was curious as I had never seen that particular messgae.

The eep is only 43 lines long using a declare cursor, doing lookups and an update command, nothing really complicated. The tables involved contain only 32,500 rows and are indexed.
