Thanks Dennis. I'll try that.

My client is running on Rbase 7.6 on a network. One user reports getting the following error message when trying to open the database: --------------------------- Information --------------------------- The database is currently unavailable -- it is probably open with MULTI set OFF. --------------------------- OK And then when I click OK it says and then exits out. --------------------------- Error --------------------------- -ERROR- Unable to connect database ( 7) --------------------------- OK --------------------------- Everyone else’s seems to be working fine. At the same time this user is getting that error message, other users are successfully using the same database. The database is located in a shared folder on their network drive. I’ve gotten this error message on my own single user systems from time to time over the years and was able to reset to MULTI ON or unload and reload the database.. What I’ve tried (remotely through the user as they’re located in another state and I was on the road so I had to talk someone through this on the phone from my car) is to try to SET MULTI ON, and then to uninstall and re-install Rbase on the specific affected computer. No result. Same behavior persists. I have to go into their local office today where I can access their network and remotely connect to the affected computer. Any ideas how to resolve this? I’m sure it’s some incredibly obvious thing I’m missing, but I really am missing it. Can anyone help? TIA Paula Stuart
