Mike, There are programs such as: http://download.cnet.com/A-PDF-Watermark/3000-2079_4-10908200.html that will add a watermark to a PDF document or documents from a command line or in batch mode that you can call from within R:Base. I use a similar program to convert scanned TIFF files to PDF files, all from within R:Base If you Google "add watermark to PDF with command line" you will get lots of options, many of them freeware. It is nice that R:Base has the flexibility that allows using other programs to supplement the built-in capabilities.
