Hi Javier,
Great suggestion. I got the trial version and it seems to work. I prefer to use
RBase products because if there are any issues, the dreamteam fixes them. Since
R:PDF Works can do the job within the app, I was thinking of asking for an
enhancement so that function can be completed from within a Plugin. In the
meantime, I like your suggestion.
Thanks!
Mike

Mike,

There are programs such as:
http://download.cnet.com/A-PDF-Watermark/3000-2079_4-10908200.html
that will add a watermark to a PDF document or documents from a command line
or in batch mode that you can call from within R:Base. I use a similar
program to convert scanned TIFF files to PDF files, all from within R:Base
If you Google "add watermark to PDF with command line" you will get lots of
options, many of them freeware.
It is nice that R:Base has the flexibility that allows using other programs
to supplement the built-in capabilities.

I am working with PDF files created by a scanner.

Is it possible to add the watermark using a line of code within my
application rather than using the R:PDF works application? My goal is to use
the R:Twain2PDF plugin to extract information on a series of PDF files and
add the watermark when the extracted data meets certain patameters.
If not, I will have an enhancement request !
