I want to set the RBASE style (RBASE) as the default setting for the
editor.
I have gone to the editor settings, edit syntax scheme and hit the apply
button.
Nothing changes. The file I am editing does not change to the RBASE
settings.
The only way I can change from the default of MSDOS batch language is to
right click while in the file and changing it to RBASE. The file I am
working on then changes but the minute I am out of the file it reverts
back to the MSDOS setting.
I have looked at the help file and found nothing on saving the editor
changes.
There is no tab on the rstyle box that allows me to change the style to
RBASE.
Hello Jim,
The R:BASE Editor syntax schemes are based upon the file extension of the
file displayed within the editor.
The following are the R:BASE defaults:
. ALL
. APP
. CMD
. BAT
. EEP
. FRM
. LBL
. PRO
. RMD
. RPT
. TBL
. VIE
What file extension are you using?
If it is .CMD or .BAT, then you will have to edit the "MS-DOS Batch Language"
syntax scheme to remove one or both of the listed file extensions:
. CMD
. BAT
After doing so, only the "R:BASE" syntax scheme will be applied to .CMD or
.BAT
files.
