True! They did start using .MAC!

And, of course, sometime in the future MS will probably start using RMD for
something!

Old habits on my part are hard to die.
I realize the RMD is the same.

If this is an app with lots of programs, it's probably too late to change...
But this is only one of the reasons why I have never named RBase
programs with a .cmd extension. Many email programs will not let
you attach a file with that extension. I used to use .mac for DOS,
and I use .rmd for windows.

Hello Jim,

The R:BASE Editor syntax schemes are based upon the file extension of
the file displayed within the editor.

The following are the R:BASE defaults:

  . ALL
  . APP
  . CMD
  . BAT
  . EEP
  . FRM
  . LBL
  . PRO
  . RMD
  . RPT
  . TBL
  . VIE

What file extension are you using?

If it is .CMD or .BAT, then you will have to edit the "MS-DOS Batch
Language"
syntax scheme to remove one or both of the listed file extensions:

  . CMD
  . BAT

After doing so, only the "R:BASE" syntax scheme will be applied to .CMD
or .BAT files.

Best regards,
