Myself, I would never sacrifice usability for "pretty", and much of today's "upgraded" software does that too often, including operating systems! But I also have no tolerance for people who think that EVERYTHING old is better. Case in point: my Sig Other's boss is on an equipment-buying frenzy for his booming business. He asked Todd's opinion on a particular type of welder to buy because he was going to an auction. Todd told him he could buy a new one for $1800, but if he found an old one in good shape spend no more than $400 on it. The guy comes back with an old welder that needs work for $1500.... Todd just shook his head, the boss stuck with the "they don't make them like that anymore". Todd said, "no, the new ones are so much better"....

I'm having troubles with a command file that prints two reports. The 2nd report is losing some of the variables it needs and I'm getting error messages saying "Unrecognized global variables in Expression." They were defined before the report printing started, so I think the 1st report is clearing it somehow. In report designer, there is a menu option that says "Clear Variables After Printing" but I click on it and nothing happens. I thought it might be a toggle switch, but the menu icon looks the same everytime I click on it. Am I missing something? Thanks, Patti
