I'm assuming that's because RStyle wants everyone to replace these old
codes?  Although they still work, I wouldn't be surprised if at some point
they aren't supported anymore.  Everytime I modify a really old program I
make sure I replace all the EQ, GT, LT, etc. that I find

Why are text operators GT, LT, which seem to be perfectly acceptable at the
R> Prompt, considered illegal by R:Style?
