Dick,

Just get your checks pre-printed with the MICR line and the rest is a piece
of cake; the cost difference between blank checks and checks with the
pre-printed MICR line is negligible.
I use QuickBooks Pro for my accounting so I print directly from there, but
printing from R:Base should be equally simple.
In any case, I use mostly EFT and digital payments so I hardly write checks
anymore.

Guys;

We accept fax checks from our customers, and have for years.
We currently use an outside program, and use our regular laser printer to
print on commercially purchased 3 per page blank checks.
It keeps customer data on file, and you just change the date, amount, check
no and order no, then print.

We now keep the customers check data in our database too, as sometimes they
use more than 1 account, and we have screwed up more than once. This allows
account verification with each order.
Now the question is, if all the data is already in our system, why not just
print right out of R:Base?

Thanks for the help and advise. Special thanks to Razzak.

I think we will play around with this.
