Another rather annoying problem I have with Windows 7 as it relates to RBase is when I have multiple copies of RBase open. All copies had been started from the R> prompt, not an application. On one copy I had the R> prompt still open, but on 2 other copies I had started an app or did an "edit using formname" command. However, when I tried to switch between the instances using alt-tab, on the screen of sessions to choose from I saw all 3 with a picture of the R> prompt that is underneath. None of the pictures showed the actual form or application that is up on the screen! So it was difficult to know which one to switch to! It doesn't do that in Windows 8.... So far I'm glad I personally skipped Windows 7 and went right to 8.

So far everything is good. Thankfully they purchase corporate licenses of RBase so the transfer is seemless there. But every window that comes up in Windows 7 has a "transparent/translucent" title bar at the top that is massively annoying. Who the heck wants to see ghosting of whatever's behind the window? Does anyone know how to change it to save me time googling the answer? Yep, I always try the lazy route first... Karen
