Hi Razzak,

In answer to your questions below:

1. This happens only on a Windows 7 workstation and only randomly.
However, this workstation uses the scheduler to run programs all day long
and it is not unusual to have three to four copies of runtime running
against different databases at any one moment.

2. This workstation runs with Domain Administrator privileges.

3. I don't think that we use custom colors. How do I check on that?

Much thanks,

Scott,

Technically, any Windows compatible executable (.exe), including R:BASE,
R:BASE Runtime, or R:BASE Compiler requires the validation to run on the
MS Windows Operating System.

If your application includes "Custom Colors", the custom color palette
information must be accessible to the logged-in user.

Thus, the "user" must have full access to registry information.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\R:BASE Technologies\RBG91_64\Custom Colors\9

What happens when you are logged-in as "Administrator" or a user with
administrative privileges?

Is this an isolated case for a particular user/workstation?

What about other users?

Hope that provides you with some blue's clues ....

Very Best R:egards,

Razzak.
