Another reminder of any I never use the cfg files anymore!!  I don't know where 
a single client of mine has one, don't care!   IMO one of the best moves from 
6.5 was taking away the necessity of this file.

You also need to have permission to write to C:\Windows which means 
administrator level if you have User Account Control.

Copy the file to your desktop, edit it to your needs and save.
Copy to C:\Windows.

I have just installed RBase 9.5 latest version onto a Lenovo N585 and cannot 
save the config file to C:\Windonws\RBEngine95.cfg.

 

This is the same PC I wrote about yesterday on not being able to connect to the 
database.  Could this be part of the issue on being able to connect ot the 
database?
