Hi,
We always use Rbas 9.5 extreme, using Remote Desktop, so that we can use one
database regardless of our physical location.

Today when I was finished, all modules where closed and I typed in "Exit" at
the R> prompt.  It hung.  After about 3 minutes, I disconnected my Remote
desktop connection.  When I connected again, Rbase was still running,
minimized.  But it won't maximize at all.  Neither right nor left click do
anything to it.

I called up task manager, and it only thought Remote Desktop was running.  So I
tried halting it that way.  No dice.

I rebooted the computer.  When I went back into remote desktop, it was no
different.  I ran another instance of Rbase and listed the number of connected
users.  I was the only one on, so I was hoping it would say "1", but it said
"2."  So it really thinks I'm actively using Rbase with that "hung" connection.

Our hardware guy is out on funeral leave.  I have no idea how to terminate that
instance of Rbase.  Is there anyway I can do it?  Does the whole server have to
be shut down?

I always have crazy problems.
Patti
