We use Symbol barcode reader guns with the barcode 128 symbology. We use them
throughout the facility in time clock, inventory, invoicing and in any
application where I can reduce keying. Over the years I have used scanning
pens, slot readers and guns, all with Rbase, and never had a problem. "Yea

I have been using Metrologic laser scanners with Code 128 barcodes for years
with no problems. Look on Ebay for these or if you want more info contact me.

We are looking for good barcode readers to help us sort/warehouse/refurb
retail store returns. All items should have ISBN or barcodes IDs. The returns
would be a random mix of anything the customer got back from their stores in
continually changing volumes. Sorting is step 1. We will need to track what
came, where it is stored, volume, and labels for boxes once we send them back.
There are many barcode readers on the market. Are there any that really
standout and work well with RBase? Tom FrederickPresident/CEOElm City
