Thank you for the reply. I am new to eXtreme 9.5 and have not created a
startup file (nor can I find any files in my RBTI folders named *.cfg, if they
exist) so was not able to edit RBENGINE95_32.CFG.

The SHOW NAMEWIDTH command
didn't work for me:

R>SHOW NAMEWIDTH
-ERROR- Invalid parameter ( 639)

I also struck out when trying to SET the namewidth:

R>SET NAMEWIDTH 60
-ERROR- This command is currently unsupported in R:BASE V-9 (32-bit) version .
(3222)

Any other suggestions?

Patty

Patty,

That display is the result of your R:BASE settings for "NAMEWIDTH".

The default is set to 40. And, that's
what you are seeing.

SHOW NAMEWIDTH should reveal the current setting.

If you wish, you may set the NAMEWIDTH setting accordingly in your
R:BASE database startup file or RBENGINE95_32.CFG/RBENGINE95_64.CFG
file accordingly.

For example:

SET NAMEWIDTH 60

That's all there is to it!

Very Best R:egards,

Razzak.
