What version of R:BASE?

There is no support available for legacy, obsolete, and/or "no longer supported" versions.
(just like MS XP)

FWIW ...

If you are using the "actively developed and currently supported" versions of R:BASE ...

If a computer is no longer using R:BASE through replacement or license transfer, and the R:BASE installation is still in place, users can deactivate a Seat within R:BASE, before
the software is un-installed, in order to release the activation.

To do so, select "Help" > "Product Activation" from the main Menu Bar. In the displayed dialog, a "Deactivate" button is available for you deactivate the product. Then, use the operating system Control Panel to locate R:BASE eXtreme in the list of installed programs,
and un-install the software.

Additional information is located within the R:BASE eXtreme Getting Started Guide.

Moving an R:BASE Seat to another computer requires license reactivation. Conditions for transferring an R:BASE Seat to another computer are possible within 1 year of your software purchase. Any software support needed past the initial year will required a
Software Assurance Plan.

A Software Assurance Plan (R:SAP) is essentially an extension of the software support services for your registered R:BASE software beyond one year from the software purchase date. An R:SAP allows customers to receive software support for license transfers and reinstallations, as well as ongoing updates for their specific software version, which
includes bug fixes and requested enhancements, for an additional year.

Software Assurance Plans are only available for supported version of R:BASE and R:BASE
add-on products.

Very Best R:egards,

Razzak.
