I need help please.
When I click on any of several R:Base desktop icons, I get a perpetual hourglass and cannot click (left or right) anything else on the desktop (task bar and start button are ok). No other desktop icons exhibit this behavior.

After clicking an R:Base icon, I get a user account control message asking if i want to allow this program from an unknown publisher to make changes to my computer. Running as Administrator doesn't help, I've also disabled Avast anti-virus and stopped Spybot. Task Manager shows three instances of RBG95_32.exe *32 but there is nothing showing on the taskbar; I can't end any of the processes.
Rebooting is required.

This is on my primary computer that I use occasionally for R:Base when I need to use R:Mail. The last time I recall the R:Base icons worked was June; I have removed two minor pieces of software installed since then.
(R:Base development work is done on a different computer.)

RB95-32 is installed on a server; I've uninstalled and reinstalled (server installation) and successfully run the Nov 11 update.
There are no RBG95*.* files on local drives.
All shortcuts all have the -a after the executable: \\THC3\Software\RBTI\RBG95_32\RBG95_32.exe -a The shortcuts were created by right-clicking RBG95_32.exe and sending to desktop as a shortcut.

OS is Win7, 64bit, SP1; 6 Gb RAM.
I realize this is more likely a win 7 issue but need help with the blues because I'm trying to email 70 time-sensitive meeting notices.

Thanks in advance,
Doug
