We have asked and gotten great support from R:BASE, but want all the

Could anyone give me specific recommendations for Windows 2008 R2
servers hosting R:BASE 9.5 32 bit.
Also what are anyone's ideas on Optimistic vs Pessimistic file
locking at the server level.
Want some ideas
Here is why:
We have a group of R:BASE users (about 5) that experience a 5-10
second delay on lookups/searches of the database that happen at
random times of the day. We've did fix indexes etc., and had
limited improvement, but still have some slow times.
We are looking for ideas to fix this issue
We realize there are many possibilities here, but want to make sure
we have covered all our bases at the server level before moving on to switches;
01. Revisit your application start-up files and make sure that you
have configured the SCRATCH path with "full" read, write, and delete privileges
02. If you are not using your R:BASE 9.5 (32) for Windows with DOS
version, consider using the R:BASE 9.5 (64) or R:BASE X Enterprise
with faster INDEXing, speed, and much more ...
03. Take advantage of Microsoft Windows 2013R2 Server and consider
running your application under Cloud environment
04. Last but not least, visit the following URL, and download the
R:BASE Multi-User Guide.

Take your time to read and understand some important items
described within the R:BASE Multi-User Guide.
