Buddy,

I want to be able to use the front end/interface of Gateway instead of building
one, I just want to display the export front end and not the import, makes
sense?

Maybe I'm missing something but have you tried

GATEWAY EXPORT filetype filename SELECT column name FROM tableName .....

Look at the GATEWAY command for other options.

I need to enable the capability to export data out of database and the
Gateway utility seems to be perfectly positioned to do this. However, I
would prefer not to display the import tab.
Is there a way to call the Gateway utility only for export?
Or, better yet can you call the gateway export wizard with a table name with
a command?
I know I can probably create a form to duplicate the capabilities but it
would take time and effort and does not make sense to duplicate a
capability that is already available.
