I need to enable the capability to export data out of database and the

Is there a way to call the Gateway utility only for export?

Javier,

Here's how ...

01. Start R:BASE X or R:BASE X Enterprise (Version 10)
    (Build: 10.0.1.20225 or higher ...)

02. CONNECT dbname

03. At the R> prompt, in a command file, or EEP, use the syntax as
    follows:

    GATEWAY EXPORT

This will start the File Gateway using [Export] tab only

    GATEWAY IMPORT

This will start the File Gateway using [Import] tab only

    GATEWAY

This will start the File Gateway using both [Import]/[Export] tabs

That's all there is to it!

Very Best R:egards,

Razzak
