I created what I thought was a simple little screen that has 6 fields from
a table, within a region where I've duplicated the tiers maybe 15 times.
I want the user to be able to inquire on the status of records in a table
and where there are multiple hits on the search criteria, be able to just
scroll up and down to find the person they're looking for. So I issue a
command like 'EDIT USING formname WHERE fieldname CONTAINS .variable'. The
screen comes up fine, and the tiers are filled, but I can't figure out how
to advance to see additional rows beyond just the one screens worth.
There are no editable fields on the form. Do there have to be editable
fields in order for F8 and F7 to work for scrolling? Is there a different
command to use other than EDIT to bring up the screen?
I feel I must be overlooking something simple.
