Jim,
try from DOS something like:
C:\>COPY AUTOEXEC.BAT LPT1 or
C:\>COPY AUTOEXEC.BAT \\FSPLH001\HPPLH130 (network port adress)
If this works, then R:Base printing should also work.
There are these days printers on the market that simply don't understand
ASCII printing. I know some CANON color inkjet printers don't accept it.
