What version of Crystal are you using?

We are using VB/Oterro 2000 & Crystal 8.5 - our code always sets the SQL
Query expression of the report so we haven't run into this problem.

The SQL produced by Crystal 8.x for its queries does seem to be better that
earlier versions.  But I you're already using 8.5........
