Thanks to Mr. R:> and MJS ...

Mr. R:> I knew you were an ole softy... ha, ha... I appreciate the
guideance...

What I had to do... I had done a typical install on our new server
before we brought it online and forgot that it was easier to put a copy
of the server6.rbg from the network rbase installation\server directory
in the same directory as rbase.exe and the databases.. That's how it's
been done here for years and that's what I have found to work... It had
already been bumped when I installed it onto our new server, so I was
covered on that ground. Even though the old server isn't online anymore
I remembered that we had it all in one directory.

Even though the users had rights to the Server directory on the new
server it did not use this copy of the Server6.rbg. Curious as to why
this is the default installation, but not where it looks without a path
assignment... AND maybe I missed it but I saw no assignment in the
RBase.cfg file for this RB6 Dos version that told it where the server
file was located, maybe I missed it.

P.S.. We are going to buy the new DOS version soon... Have to talk to
RBTI about the cost and such... Was waiting till all the
upgrades/patches etc... was worked out before we bought it... Looks like
it's ready.

Thanks again
Jim Limburg
