Oh boy..never mind - I found a line of code I had forgotten to comment out
that didn't point to the database using CON .vdatab...

Subject: Connecting to db on server (weird)

Running RBW6.5++ on NT 4.0 wkstation. Database is on NT 4.0 server.

Executing water.dat with following code:
-----------------------------------------
set scratch c:\ben
run NEW.APP usi X:\rbase\waterapp\water
exit

NEW.APP contains the following lines:
-------------------------------------
  set v vdatab text = .%1
  CONNECT .vdatab

This results in the message "Unable to connect to database".

However, if I type "CON .vdatab" at the R:>, it connects!

I initially thought it was a permissions issue until I tried the "CON
.vdatab" at the R:> and it worked...

Thanks!
