Numeric format question

Good Day to All:

4.5++ DOS Question.   Is it possible to have a numeric field (11,1) as a
display field in a form and have it display edited  (with commas) ?  I.e.
could 6987654.3 be displayed as 6,987,654.3  ?  I can only get it 6987654.3.
