Sorry, I forgot to specify that this happens in RBase DOS (6.5++).  It works
OK in RBase WIN.

If you set scratch to a specified drive/dir, for example:  SET SCRATCH
C:\MYSTUFF  and you do a ZIP ROLLOUT or a ZIP RETURN, the scratch setting
will be erased (It won't be ON or OFF, it will be NULL, but it acts like it
is set on).

With which version ?

With RBW 6.5++ the scratch settings are not affected by a ZIP ROLLOUT or a
ZIP RETURN.
Same with 6.1a
