PC cillin 2000 pattern 917 (www.antivirus.com) has caught and cleaned 6
cases of the virus being sent to me over the last three days!
All from the same source. I've email them directly but not sure if they are
a member of the list!

best regards,

Subject: Virus From Me

I appear to have been hit by a virus that is sending out email under my
name, with a file attachment and a message asking for "advice". Needless
to say, if you open the file you will probably infect your computer.

At least one Rbase-l member has received the email.

I have switched to Eudora from Outlook (at least temporarily), although
Norton Anit-Virus came up empty on my system. Any advice on fighting this
virus would be appreciated (and yes, this time I am _really_ asking for
advice).
