Not unbelievable, Larry - this is ANSI standard SQL. All the view does is
make the statement into one word for ease of typing when you use it, and
ease of reading when you look at it.

Is it part of the standard? I know that other database support various
versions of this syntax (in some cases you have to use it in place of
two-table UPDATEs, but it's really slow), but didn't know R:Base did.
