Jim,

To use the new GETDATE command:

First, make sure that you are using The Glorious
R:BASE
2000 (version 6.5++), Build: 1.842xRT03, released on
June 15, 2001.

SHOW VERSION at the mighty R> Prompt or About R:BASE
6.5++
should reveal the version and build information.

If, you are using the CURRENT version, then, try:

SET VAR vDate = (GETDATE('Pick Date'))

vDate SHOULD return the date you picked from Calendar!

For more details and examples, check NewStuff Demo or

http://www.rbase.com/rbw65pp

Have Fun!

Very Best Regards,

Razzak.
