I have a 4.5++ app that is running on a network. The network printer is
connected to the network via an hp jetdirect.
I normally use, for network printing of DOS jobs....
NET USE LPT1 \\servername\printername and then COPY FILENAME LPT1
or COPY FILENAME \\servername\printername
But, I can't get the jetdirect to print.
The jetdirect does have a host name and an IP address.
Anyone have any experience with any of this? Is this a job for LMHOSTS?
