I thought it was the common RBase, so I dutifully installed it on all the workstations, still didn't help. FINALLY I found when the files were copied, they didn't have the Sharable attribute checked. Everything ran OK, but it was the net operating system that was juggling scratch files like crazy, trying to keep track of all of the open files, concurrency, and all of that. A simple change of the sharable attribute fixed it ALL. If I remember the thread, this was a suggestion, but it just bit me, so I thought I'd pass on the idea. Good Luck Damon Damon D.
