Dave,

I have a client who does a variation
on this.  They batch all their invoices
by week, 1 - 52.  They simply use a
column in their Invoice table that has
200152 or 200101 in it.  This allows
them to get the groupings they want.
They can force stuff into one week or
another and so it's not date dependent.
It seems to work well for them.

Would something like that work for
you?  Not a lot of complexity to my
client's method but it gets the job
done.
