Ok, I tried the NOHEADER option at the end of the MDI form, but I still see the system menu....FILE, TOOLS, UTILITIES, etc. Any idea what i am doing wrong??? This seems like it should work. Interestingly enough, the system menu does not appear on just the plain vanilla EDIT USING.....without the MDI / Modal syntax. I'm already confused and it's only january 3 !!! Bob
