Fred, I think this will do what you want:
Range("A1:" & ActiveCell.Address).Select
When I tested this, it selected everything from
A1 down to whereever the cursor happened
to be.
Also try this:
MsgBox ActiveCell.Address
Let me know if this does the trick. If not, I've
