NetWare will share it without the sharable specifically being allowed or denied, but the performance hit it tremendous. Seems to work the same way with application files, command files, etc. Change the Sharable attribute and see if that fixes it. On the same vein, I've found that there is some delay on specific machines, where the connection is slow when I connect the Database on the machine for the first time, but if I open another RBase window and connect to the same database, it is almost instantaneous. Seems some of the delay is in the operating system too. Operating system is Win2000 on the workstations, Novell 5.1 on the servers. Just my for what it's worth. Damon Damon D.
