You can get a larger window by firing off RBase for DOS from a batch (cmd) file. What you do is define a command file in the RBDOS65 directory and then create a shortcut to it. This will give you more control over font and therefor window size that is lacking if you use the icon setup that the RBase installation program creates, which is a direct shortcut to rbase65.exe. What you lose is control over memory allocation but I haven't needed to specify anything other than auto for memory under Windows 2000 Pro and that is the default for shortcuts to batch (command) files. You can of course add the RBase or other icon for desktop display.
Here's the command file: rem 11/14/01 rbase65_2.cmd PATH c:\rbti\rbdos65;C:\BATCH;C:\WINNT;C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32 c: cd \rbti\rbdos65 rbase65.exe -z999 -k1024 -c ======================================= At 06:43 PM 2/20/2002 -0800, you wrote: >James, > >Just starting running XP on my laptop, and all seems to work well.
