Okay, I know this has been covered before, but I didn't pay much attention because it wasn't relevant to me at the time...
I am now trying to connect to an R:Base database as an external data dource with Excel, and I get the message that "the database is connected in a mode that makes it unavailable to you." I connect to other data sources (i.e. an SQL Anywhere database on a network server) with no problem. What do I need to do to configure the R:Base data source so it will connect properly?
