Yes, you are right... This would be the easiest approach, and my
way is complicated... I like the rough road,ha,ha..

I go this route to cover as many possiblites as I can.. I have seen
it to where users have no access to even create files on their own
system like the temp directory you say to use here.. We at this time
don't have any, but are considering it... That is they can't create
folders in the root of C:\, but could create in certain subfolders..
This kills alot of junk software installation that we see...

I just like to cover bases, and at the same time make my life
complicated.
