Bernie, I'm not sure if this is meant to happen but I rather like that it does. Whatever, if I have a row in a region and a button to insert a new row then whatever data is in the current row is transferred into the new row and can then be edited - good for part duplicate entries.

Come to think of it, I don't believe I've seen it happen other than from a button...

Untried, but my guess is that you can get a blank row by somehow ensuring the cursor is not in the region.

Regards, Alastair.

Subject: Ghosts in regions 6.5++ DOS 1,851

the next row in a region repeats some of the data from the previous row.
This hasn't bothered us in the past but now I think it's the cause of sometimes not allowing us to get to the next row.
When this happens, by backing up and retyping the item no. it allows going to the next row.

I'm not sure what RESETROW does.  It says it restores the row to it's original condition.  If the default data for a col or var is 0 it does not reset it to 0.

What can I do to prevent the ghosts from appearing in the next row?
