Truthfully, there are sooo many websites dedicated to html with tutorials, that purchasing a book would only be a convenience if you didn't have a DSL or Cable hookup to instantly use the web as a resource. A Few:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/workshop/author/dhtml/dhtml_node_entry.asp http://htmlgoodies.earthweb.com/ (Although I have a Couple of Joe's books, his site is terrific) http://www.devguru.com/Technologies/html/quickref/color_chart.html http://www.blooberry.com/indexdot/html/ http://www.idocs.com/tags/ http://www.w3.org/History/19921103-hypertext/hypertext/WWW/MarkUp/MarkUp.htm l And don't forget, when you are presenting new pages out of whole cloth, you can also write jscript into the page to make it react to the user in different ways. I always encourage the familiarization with jscript, even if it is just cursory, to expand your ability to make things happen your way.... http://developer.netscape.com/docs/manuals/communicator/jsref/contents.htm ----- Original Message ----- From: "Art Graham" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Friday, March 22, 2002 10:38 AM Subject: Re: HTML report > An excellent HTML reference book providing numerous examples that are easy > to use and understand: > > HTML For The World Wide Web (Forth Edition) > Elizabeth Castro > ISBN: 0-201-69696-7 > Amazon sells it new for $13.99 > > Art Graham > > > At 03:05 PM 3/20/2002 -0800, you wrote: > >Where can I find instructions on producing a report in HTML format? > > > >Joe > > > >================================================ > >TO SEE MESSAGE POSTING GUIDELINES: > >Send a plain text email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] > >In the message body, put just two words: INTRO rbase-l > >================================================ > >TO UNSUBSCRIBE: send a plain text email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] > >In the message body, put just two words: UNSUBSCRIBE rbase-l > >================================================ > >TO SEARCH ARCHIVES: > >http://www.mail-archive.com/rbase-l%40sonetmail.com/ > > ================================================ > TO SEE MESSAGE POSTING GUIDELINES: > Send a plain text email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] > In the message body, put just two words: INTRO rbase-l > ================================================ > TO UNSUBSCRIBE: send a plain text email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] > In the message body, put just two words: UNSUBSCRIBE rbase-l > ================================================ > TO SEARCH ARCHIVES: > http://www.mail-archive.com/rbase-l%40sonetmail.com/ > ================================================ TO SEE MESSAGE POSTING GUIDELINES: Send a plain text email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] In the message body, put just two words: INTRO rbase-l ================================================ TO UNSUBSCRIBE: send a plain text email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] In the message body, put just two words: UNSUBSCRIBE rbase-l ================================================ TO SEARCH ARCHIVES: http://www.mail-archive.com/rbase-l%40sonetmail.com/
