Bob,

The GATEWAY (Import/Export) utility (a third party product) used
in current version of R:BASE for Windows will truncate NOTE,
TEXT, VARCHAR, and LONG VARCHAR fields at 255 characters
when importing or exporting them using GATEWAY, and is also
limited to 64,000 records.

A new LOAD AS CSV and UNLOAD AS CSV command has
been introduced in The Glorious R:BASE 2000 (ver 6.5++) for
Windows to overcome such limitation.

For more details, please check http://www.RSyntax.com

May The Magical R:BASE 7.0 for Windows bring the BEST
tools and more options for Importing/Exporting data!

Very Best Regards,

Razzak.
