Copying the expressions themselves is not (too much) of a problem, Razzak. If I could copy the _object_ between two instances of R:Base then I'd be away and happy.
It's perfectly reasonable to have to create each expression individually - how could anyone know what was wanted to pre-program it? As I said before, once the first one is created I could copy it and change a couple of numbers for each subsequent one. The difficulty is then having to change section and position (if you don't create each variable in the precise order it is to be used). It's just that the report header and footer seem as if they could be separate parts of the report that some form of copying/merging would be possible. Presumably there are other users that want the consistency of presentation that such a possibility offers - printing onto headed paper, for example, or pre-drawn forms.
