Okay, Razzak, you've been sittin' back, just waitin', until that code was implemented, integrated, and working, before you sent this, right. You've no doubt been grinnin' and chucklin' to yourself, just wait 'til this guy and everyone else gets a load of this, all those little bells and whistles, albeit GOOD and USEFUL, bells and whistles, are gonna' be available in v7.
Well, I'm still a rational skeptic, but I am somewhat optimistic (recall, I go back to SYS V) and look fwd to seeing it. If it's all you promise, my new CPP Builder might remain un-installed f/awhile and my not-quite-so-new VB books might stay on the shelf a bit longer. That is my hope f/the moment. As you might surmise, I can't make it to Pittsburgh, and, maybe f/the first time in my years as a user (developer?) I regret this fact. Y'all have a good time and I'll be there in spirit. BTW, the basic functionality of my current RBWIN app has been successfully tested and the results re-iterated. W/partial apologies f/the metaphor I'm about to use, Monday afternoon was the metaphorical equivalent, at least f/our organization, of Enrico Fermi's CP-1 reactor at University of Chicago going critical on Dec. 2, 1942. That event proved that the Manhattan Project could succeed. Such was my testing on this Monday past. We still don't have the weapon and can't deliver it (actually, this is where the metaphor bothers me), but, I think the potential and strategic impact on our organization and how we get a return on I/T is a good parallel to how the world changed when humankind first learned how to use nuclear energy.
