I've been very happy with my Yamaha R/W CD. If your existing CD is as fast as the write speed of of the new drive, you can keep both. Sometimes this is convenient.
But I have found that allowing the software to make an image on the hard drive first is way faster overall. -- Dennis McGrath mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] -- Tools for R:BASE programmers http://www.enteract.com/~mcgrath/dennis -- Full time consultant with SQL Resources mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Dennis Fleming Sent: Monday, April 22, 2002 2:06 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Hard media I distribute updates via e-mail, but occasionally someone wants it on diskette or CD. Can anyone recommend a R/W CD drive to make CD's for my HP desktop? Internal, external, replace my Read Only CD???
