        AFAIK in 6.5 this is not possible.  Landscape mode simply didn't
work for LABEL for us in 6.5 for Windows on a label printer.  What we did
was use a report instead of a label and it printed in landscape with no problem.

        BTW it works just fine in 6.5++ and maybe as far back as 6.5+.
