This functionality is already (and has been for a number of years)
available within Visual Basic with the FlexGrid control. Component One also
publishes two more advanced FlexGrid controls that provide all sorts of
amazing capabilities.

RBase supports VB application development through either the RBase ODBC
driver or for multi-user environments, Oterro. (Make sure you, your
company, client, customer, etc. have purchased the appropriate number of
licenses of RB or Oterro for your/their environment. The folks at RBTI can
provide you with all the necessary info to make sure you stay legal.)

I've only begun to scratch the surface with VB and am continually amazed at
what functionality is now available to me.

There are over 3 million VB developers and numerous web sites and listservs
dedicated to assisting VB developers.

You can take an introductory course on VB at your local community college,
continuing ed program at your local high school, or at one of your local
commercial training schools. There are also many good books and CBTs
available. Take a look at Amazon.com.

This is a great way to make RBase do what you want it to.

Sharon and All R:BASE Users:

It is my pleasure to inform you all that The Magical R:BASE 7.0
for Windows will include the NEW and COOL option of displaying
default column name or customized heading for each column
included in CHOOSE command.

And, as you've probably guessed by now, all of this will be taught
at the upcoming "Inside R:BASE 7.0 for Windows" Advanced Training
Seminars. http://www.RbaseUniversity.com

Folks, prepare yourself - study, learn, develop and get ready for a
wild ride! http://www.rbase.com/rbg7

Very Best Regards,

Razzak.
