The DOS RBDEFINE allows me to re-arrange the order of the columns in a table; i.e. if a columns is the 8th column in a table, I can move it up to the 3rd position or down to the 10th position without changing it or deleting it. The Windows RBDEFINE does not. As I indicated in my response to Sami Aaron, I am surprised that the windows version doe not allow this type of operation as it is basic to database maintenance.

Javier,

If I read your question correctly you can, use the Object manager (RBDefine) insert a new column into the position and delete the old column.

I am trying to change the order of columns in a table definition using RBDEFINE in Rbase Windows 6.5++ and I can’t seem to figure out how to do it.

In the DOS version, when I use RBDEFINE I highlight the column with the cursor, press the <CTRL><F8> and I can move the column up or down with the UP and Down arrows. I am tired of having to go to the DOS version every time I need to make changes. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
