J.M.,
01. Create two startup files, for example, UserA.DAT and UserB.DAT
in your application directory, such as, D:\RBW65\App
Include the following two lines in UserA.DAT
Example:
-- UserA.DAT
SET NAME UserA
RUN MyApp IN MyApp.APX
Include the following two lines in UserB.DAT
Example:
-- UserB.DAT
SET NAME UserB
RUN MyApp IN MyApp.APX
02. Create two shortcuts on your desktop with the following
properties.
Example:
ShortCut Name: UserA
Target: C:\RBTI\RBWin65\RBG65.EXE -R -C UserA.DAT
Start In: D:\RBW65\App
ShortCut Name: UserB
Target: C:\RBTI\RBWin65\RBG65.EXE -R -C UserB.DAT
Start In: D:\RBW65\App
03. Start TGRB2000 (ver 6.5++) for Windows using UserA shortcut
on your desktop.
04. Start another session of TGRB2000 (ver 6.5++) for Windows
using UserB shortcut on your desktop.
Now you have two different users with two different NAMEs using
the same database and application on the same PC.
No need to mess around with the default RBASE.CFG file.
Enjoy the POWER of running multiple sessions of The Glorious
R:BASE 2000 (ver 6.5++) on the same workstation!
Very Best Regards,
Razzak.
